On March 5th, the SAME Los Angeles Post will hold its Inaugural Small Business Industry Day event (8:00am – 7:00pm) at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, CA. The SAME Industry Day event will bring together various Federal, State and Local Gov agencies for a packed day of networking, breakout sessions, exhibitor booths and more. On March 6th, the Los Angeles District SPL/USACE will hold its Business Opportunities Open House (BOOH) event (8:30am – 1:00pm) at the same location.

The two events are perfect opportunities to meet with SPL personnel and to discuss the postings below and other business opportunities. Additionally, Vernon Simpkins of Sacramento District and San Francisco District -SPK and SPN as well as Stephanie Parra of Albuquerque District-SPA will be on hand to discuss opportunities in their districts. The American Indian Chamber-APEX organization will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about Native American businesses and Tribal-owned businesses. While the “sources sought” notices may have or will be closed prior to the BOOH, the event will still allow you to meet with SPL/USACE to ask whatever questions you like about the opportunities themselves.
